Argos is an unusual shop in the UK, in as much as it does not display all it's products on the shop floor. You go into the store and they have catalogues around the room, with little pens and order sheets that you then take to the checkout when you have chosen what you want. You then take your order sheet to the checkput and an assistant will go to the warehouse and fetch your goods. This is probably how Argos manages to keep its prices so competitive. In fact comparing prices of goods sold at Argos, you often find items on sale there to be much cheaper than anywhere else.
Their range of products is huge, again due to the method of sales, a small high street shop that selss pretty much anything you could thik of all in one small store.
Whenever I have a purchase I need to make, I always check the price against Argos before I buy, as more often than not Argos will give the best price available.
